I would have preferred to hear more about the newspapers down south cutting days of publication and laying off employees. You spent a lot more time with Cohen than on an issue that affects news collection for all outlets. Yes - newspapers still are the best. Other news mediums are skimpy and/or opinionated. And the rest tend to steal from newspapers to fill up their airtime and websites. One might argue that more newspapers reacting to hard times isn't news. New Orleans losing days of print for the Times-Picayune is a huge deal. Many of the readers don't have computers. The area is still recovering from hurricane Katrina. It's a population suffering from a crooked local power base. Many of its readers remain in poverty. These are the types of people who need newspapers most these days.

Howard Kurtz? Really? You are the wrong person to interview Andy Cohen. You sounded and appeared completely out of touch with pop culture. I mean, at one point, you were asking Andy about reporting straight news and actually paused to say, "oh, I probably shouldn't use the word 'straight' with you..." Seriously? What exactly were you thinking????? If you're that uncomfortable with openly gay men, then stick with interviewing stuffy politicians and leave the fun topics to someone else.

And before any other commentators attempt to discredit me as a gay male fighting for gay rights, know this: I am a heterosexual female who lives in the deep south.

CNN, shame on Howard Kurtz and shame on you.

obama is a total failure, he has only ascmopliched one thing in his first year andthat was having a beer summit. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with beer. But hosting a beer summit by the president makes the US a laughing stock of the entire world. He spent the entire year trying to ram down our throats his idea of health care which the country is completely against, but would old big ears o bama listen to the people of the USA? He doesn’t and he didn’tStop the MadnessStop the MadmanImpeach o bama

Now I know who is responsible for the decline in quality television content. How is it I have over 100 channels and the majority of them feature crap reality shows.
