Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker may have been a little too honest on NBC’s Meet the Press last Sunday. Booker questioned the latest Obama campaign attack on Mitt Romney’s record at Bain Capital. Liberal commentators were quick to decry Booker for “sabotaging” the Obama campaign, while conservatives portrayed Booker as a prominent Democrat gone rogue. POLITICO’s Roger Simon and The Washington Posts’s Anne Kornblut discuss how the Obama campaign reacted, and the role the media played as the narrative played out over the week.
Former president of ABC News David Westin talks about his 14 years running the network – guiding coverage of wars, terrorist attacks and political campaigns through a changing media landscape.
This Sunday on CNN at 11 a.m. ET.

The article just above the sneak peak article starts with this sentence "How many times has a headline caught your eye, only to read the article and find out it isn’t quite what that catchy phrase described?"
I have watched Reliable Sources for a fairly non-partial view on the performance of new agencies performance over the last week. Though I have at times been dissappointed with the fawning attitude of the host of this show, particularly with the possibility that he is not really anything but a news reporters spokesman with the message "we really can do no wrong"
This memorial weekends episode with Andy Cohen shows an absolute waste of the 20 minutes of actual reporting, the hosts fawning over Andy Cohen's acheivements as a reality show mogel, was an insult to not only your viewers time, but to the actual news reporting industry.
Really can you thing of something even more unrelated to reliable sources of new reporting, than that ?? I suspect you can and, you will.
That's an excellent point you make Nermeen and one that is often orklvooeed, which is that revolutions (of any type) start with just one thing but quickly gather pace to incorporate the huge variety of injustice that the people feel.
I was a capitve agent and wend idnpeendent just 6 months ago. I was lucky that I didn't have a non-compete to worry about. I am glad that I have always made it a point to connect with my clients on a direct level by putting my cell phone number on my business cards as well as Friending people on Facebook when it seemed appropriate. And I also reached out to other people and have been very happy at the amount of clients that I have been able to retain in just the 6 short months that I have been idnpeendent. I am condifent that I will continue to bring more clients with me.
