Thank you for your measured comments on Michael Lewis' VF article.
It was difficult today to sit and listen to Zakaria's interview with him. It is so clear, from what Lewis says, that Obama is a total megalomaniac yet Lewis doesn't have the depth to understand that.
And to hear Zakaria agree with Lewis that "Obama is the most literary President in history"?? ... I almost fell over. How can anyone, who knows literature and truly literary people, believe that? There is a language of the literary, there is a vocabulary and a cadence to speech and thought of the literary that Obama has never shown. He appears to be shallow and quick in his thinking ... not measured, not well-read. What a cringe-worthy interview. Also out-loud laughable.

Now more than ever, the press is a part of every story it covers. And CNN's "Reliable Sources" is one of television's only regular programs to examine how journalists do their jobs and how the media affect the stories they cover. Host Howard Kurtz is the nation's premier media critic, and each week he questions print reporters, television correspondents and Internet bloggers about how the press is covering the major stories of the week.
