I don't dislike Katie, I don't know her. However, I totally resent her show replacing my soaps so I won't watch. Plenty of other shows to watch other than ABC/D...I think the money spent (wasted) on the production of this show would have been better spent on AMC or OLTL.
I refuse to watch any more talk shows as most of them bore me to tears.The airwaves are littered with them. I certainly will not watch Katie or anything else on ABC–except for its one remaining soap opera, General Hospital.
I am tired of talk shows. The are overdone and boring so I no longer watch them. That being said I will never even tune into to check out Katie's new show because in my area it is on ABC and ABC owns it. I don't watch anything on ABC except for GH and I don't purcharse anything Disney. From what I have heard about Katie's show from the media and internet it doesn't look lke I am missing much. Recycled crap and more of the same old same old.
While I have no ax to grind personally against Katie, we soapers will and must make Katie fail. It doesn't matter whether she will talk about anything meaningful-noone will watch in the long run. The millions that could have been spent saving AMC and OLTL will have been wasted
Why anyone wants another talk show about hollywood gossip where there promting a book,movie,diet etc etc is beyond my belief.Katie s old news and just doing the same as all talkers.Really sick of someone going from show to show to promote something.Daytime soaps where an escape now its turning into rerun talkers.They say the genre is dying but still ratings refuse to count people over 54 and very few over 49.Your biggest veiwers are not c this rating counted everyday.Millions.the ones who watch the most Tv and secure about spending.Why hasn't a show been done on age discremination on ratings and outdated Neilsen boxes.Do you all realize ratings are way off because of this rating system.Wht=y do the networks not want the baby boomers.We are the biggest veiwing audiences.25,000 Neilsen boxes are telling who's watching what.Wanna see a story on this and how it should be against the law.You think your ratings are downAre they?We baby boomers are not even included in ratings and we know that few boxes has no idea what everyone is watching.Lets investigate this and have a story on it.Let us know.Believe me aliot of us are fed up with this ratings.We know its wrong
