I think we are going about this the wrong way! We are attacking (GUNS) they are not the problem! We are focused on criminals getting their hands on guns. They don't register for background checks, they steal them from those that do! Here is a suggestion; IMPLEMENT A TAX ON BULLETS! THIS TAX SHOULD BE REINFORCED WITH AN ID TO PURCHASE LAW. MAKE EVERY BULLET AFTER THE FIRST BOX SUBJECT TO THE TAX! This may limit the number bullets one person can have! Require casings be returned as an exemption to the tax! If a bullet cost $100.00 dollars. I think this will serve as an alternative to the CRAZIES out there! Create a special license for SPORTSMAN SHOOTER, they just LOVE the smell of gun power in the morning!!!
The majority of these shootings are carried out by people who have vendetta's or mental health issues! Tell me what you think Howard?
After listening to Costa's explaination on his view on gun culture and gun control, I think he is one of the few sensible journalists who is not afraid to voice his personal views on a tough issue. Way to go Bob!
