Sneak peek at this Sunday’s show

By Pallavi Reddy, CNN

This week we’ve seen two main characters in the Penn State rape scandal speak to the media: Jerry Sandusky and Mike McQueary. Sandusky’s phone interview with NBC’s Bob Costas definitely made stomachs churn, while McQueary’s interview with CBS left most questions unanswered. We’ll have the Harrisburg Patriot-News’ Sara Ganim, the reporter who broke the story back in March, to tell us about her experience. We’ll also be joined by Broadcasting & Cable editor Marisa Guthrie and television critics Eric Deggans, St. Petersburg Times, and David Zurawik, Baltimore Sun, to dissect the interviews and analyze the continuing coverage of the scandal. They’ll also discuss the latest TV change-ups including Chelsea Clinton signing onto NBC News, the new CBS Early Show announcement, and Regis Philbin’s retirement.

We’ll also tackle the latest political headlines: Cain’s Libya gaffe and the new Republican frontrunner, who was cast off just months ago, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. The Washington Post’s Nia-Malika Henderson, Current TV’s David Shuster, and the National Review’s Robert Costa join us for that discussion.

This Sunday at 11 a.m. EST on CNN.
