This week brought yet another GOP debate and with it new polls proclaiming Newt Gingrich as the front runner for the Republican nomination. The resulting scrutiny of Gingrich has been harsh, with figures in the media questioning his morality and calling him “mean” and “stupid.” Jackie Kucinich of USA Today, Danielle Crittenden of The Huffington Post, and Newsweek columnist Eleanor Clift join Howard to talk about Gingrich’s new role as well as the fallout following the failure of the Congressional super committee to reach any kind of consensus in the debt debacle. Crittenden will also talk about her role as the head of the new Canadian arm of The Huffington Post.
Blogger Andrew Sullivan of the Daily Beast will also be on the show to give a conservative critique of the Republican field and to offer his perspective as a gay journalist.
This Sunday at 11a.m. EST on CNN.
