This week brought yet another GOP debate and with it new polls proclaiming Newt Gingrich as the front runner for the Republican nomination. The resulting scrutiny of Gingrich has been harsh, with figures in the media questioning his morality and calling him “mean” and “stupid.” Jackie Kucinich of USA Today, Danielle Crittenden of The Huffington Post, and Newsweek columnist Eleanor Clift join Howard to talk about Gingrich’s new role as well as the fallout following the failure of the Congressional super committee to reach any kind of consensus in the debt debacle. Crittenden will also talk about her role as the head of the new Canadian arm of The Huffington Post.
Blogger Andrew Sullivan of the Daily Beast will also be on the show to give a conservative critique of the Republican field and to offer his perspective as a gay journalist.
This Sunday at 11a.m. EST on CNN.
Howard, I have been disappointed in your show the last couple of weeks(months?). You don't seem to be impartial anymore. Your vignettes that protest 'is this fair?' are transparent and a simple mechanism that allows you to espouse your views without being accountable for them. Your first panel is without a conservative advocate. Second panel; Sullivan is simply an opportunity to showcase his views as a counterpoint to conservatives and to bolster the progressive viewpoint. What would Howard say about the same kind of show on Fox? Come on! One show away from canceling 'Reliable Sources' series from my DVR.
To Howard Kurtz: What a low standard that you showed yourself to have, when you made statements regarding the two Kellys on your show this Sunday. I am an independent and regard that to be an infantile remark at best and a very low blow to another commentator at least. I am a watcher of CNN, but it has become roo tainted for me. Good buy Reliable Resources.

RE: Interview with Andrew Sullivan: Fake Conservative (11/27/11)
Mr. Kurtz, please!! This guy is NO CONSERVATIVE. You're just a typical ultra-biased stenographer for the Left who though it would be chic to have 'conservative blogger against conservatives' show segment title. Is this all you have? Why don't you focus in on the incompetence of our President and AG? This would actually be substantive.
This light-weight, bogus story with Mr. Sullivan is lazy journalism. You should be ashamed.
