I disagree with the level hdeaed Mormon thinking comment. Mormons follow a fraud who claimed the title of prophet. They do not allow the public to witness their services. They have excluded women, blacks, Native Americans, and LGBT from leadership and membership in some instances. They still vote as a block, which was commanded by their prophet. This is a scary cult who hides behind the label of Christian, not level hdeaed thinkers.
$50 a month is $600 per year.. which may be a lot to someone who earns say 12 000$ per year. Also, if they have a paid for car, they could sell that and buy a more eioonmcc one. Too-pollutey?Well.. possibly the old ones. You know that half of Europe now drives modern TDI cars that get like 65 mpg and can push 120 mph?I doubt they are too pollutey- our enviromental agencies are rabid dobermann attack dogs compared to the de-barked, de-toothed quadriplegic chihuahua of the EPA.. all new diesels for the past decade and something had to have a thingie called the particulates filter or something..The only reason TDI's are banned is probably that the pathetic losers in US car industry can't make them and they bribed EPA crooks to make them illegal...So much for free enterprise and innovation 😉
I disagree with Howard's comments this morning regarding Romney and religion. It is the proper subject of enquiry because most of us don't know much about what Mormon's believe. We know what it means when Santorum says he is a conservative practicing Catholic. That has certain baggage and Santorum embraces that -it is not a secret. Thus we are entitled to know what it means that Romney is an active Mormon with a formal role in the church. So what are his view on the role of women- really. The press should be promoting the airing of discussions like this not trying to suppress them. Howard please inform us and lets have less PC.
Now more than ever, the press is a part of every story it covers. And CNN's "Reliable Sources" is one of television's only regular programs to examine how journalists do their jobs and how the media affect the stories they cover.
Brian Stelter is the host of "Reliable Sources" and the senior media correspondent for CNN Worldwide. Before he joined CNN in November 2013, Stelter was a media reporter for The New York Times. He is the author of the New York Times best-seller "Top of the Morning."
I believe you have mentioned some very interesting details , thanks for the post.
