Sneak peek at this Sunday's show

By Cassie Spodak, CNN

When a costumed man started spraying bullets in a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado early Friday morning, movie goers thought at first it was part of the film. As word leaked out across the country that 12 people had been killed and 59 injured, media outlets jumped into hyper drive, each trying to provide context and insight when little was known of either. Ana Marie Cox, Washington Correspondent for GQ Magazine, Ramesh Ponnuru, Senior Editor at National Review, and Bob Cusack, Managing Editor at The Hill will discuss how the coverage unfolded.

They will also talk about the latest in political coverage – from conservative pundits calling for Mitt Romney to release his tax records, heightened nastiness from campaign surrogates and controversy over campaign aides and political officials demanding the right to approve quotes given to reporters.

Kara Swisher, Editor of AllThingsDigital and Lauren Ashburn, Editor-in-chief of Daily-Download.com discuss new Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer and the media attention surrounding her hire. With much talk of her age, appearance, and pregnancy, are the media focusing too much on her role as a woman? Or is this just what happens when a tech celebrity ascends to new heights?

Anchor Howard Kurtz will give his two cents on George Zimmerman’s interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News as well as Zimmerman’s back and forth with Barbara Walters after she found his conditions for an interview too demanding.

Marisa Guthrie, Columnist for The Hollywood Reporter and Adam Buckman, TV Columnist and Weekend Editor at XfinityTV.com will discuss morning show ratings, and whether it’s fair to expect new Today co-host Savannah Guthrie to help the Today show beat out Good Morning America.

This Sunday, 11am ET.
