I don't like it when guests interrupt each other either. But the people commenting here castigate Jennifer Rubin and say nothing about John Aravosis, as if she were the shrew and he the model guest. Yet early in this "food fight" Aravosis defended Chris Matthews' right to rudeness by saying, "If someone lies, you don't just take it, you push back!" Indeed, the worst moments of this brawl came near the end when the subject was about the media's so-called fact-checking of Paul Ryan's speech. Aravosis literally smirked his way through Rubin's response (how civil is that?) before insisting full-throatedly that Ryan was lying. That's when most of Rubin's "push back" began, and there was interrupting a'plenty by both parties before Howard Kurtz sent them to their corners. If Jennifer Rubin was "rude and overbearing," as one writer put it, Aravosis was equally so.

Fox News is 1,000 times more credible than MSNBC will ever be. Matthews, Laurence O'Donnell, Ed Schultz – they all jumped the shark that week. All of them lied through their tooth gaps.

    Howard Kurtz,

After watching this exchange with Jennifer Rubin, I wrote your show off. Count me out of your audience members. My time is more valuable on Sunday. Listening to an ignoramus from South Jersey named, Jennifer Rubin was enough for me. She is no Robert Woodward or Kathleen Turner for that matter. Her obvious Republican bias is not what I expect from your show!

It is hard to see that race had anything to do with Reince Priebus's remark. Europe is mostly white. The funny thing is that Priebus's remark was exactly wrong. Europe has pursued, for dealing with the economic crisis, the failed austerity model that Mitt Romney recommends. Even some of the European business press now calls that a mistake.

I watch Reliable Sources regularly and always felt like I come away informed, but the episode with Jennifer Rubin crossed the line. She made my skin crawl. It was no better than the episode with Chris Matthews that it was talking about. Ms Rubin is rude and overbearing and then talks about how bad Chris Matthews is! Also, how do fact checkers not check the facts? Seems to me that's what it's about. Howie, let's not have her on again. I'm tired of hearing people scream over the other person who is trying to state his opinion. Remember civil discourse?

I thought this segment represented a low point for Reliable Sources. I'd rather see one of your fluff pieces on media personalities than be assaulted by ranters who deliver totally predictable sloganeering and try to shout each other down.

I can tune in the McLaughlin Report or any number of other food-fights. Shame on you, Howie, for allowing this kind of degradation to become an increasingly regular part of your show, which should at least try to maintain journalistic standards.

    J. Rubin is shameful to women and the American people and just another liar supporter of the Republican party. I watched her one other time and was just as offended as I was today. What planet are these people from that they try to tell us, those of us who watched all three days, that we did not hear Ryan lie, over and over again. Check the facts yourself, the truth is right there in black and white.

We the people are smart and do care and read to be informed. We read the newspapers, on-line articles, fact check ourselves listen to different new channels for a well rounded view to make our decisions. Shame on Rubin and shame on you for allowing this sort of liar to hit the air. It's just a lie, please call it what it is. You wonder why the public does not listen to reporting much on the major networks anymore.

We the people must listen to all channels, read and talk to our neighbors to get a fair view. But It's because you guys/reporters who do not stop these liars, press for the truth, we deserve the truth from those we elect and those that report and get air time. Where are more Mike Wallace like reporters who are not afraid to questions the person when they lie or miss led?

Seriously CNN; this is not fair news reporting. These liars must be called out to tell the truth or don't talk, period. I feel the same about the Demos if they lie. We the people deserve the truth. Screw the Corporate Networks and their bias views, the news is what directs the Country with the freedom of speech. We see BS when BS is presented. If the speech is not factual or telling the truth, then call the lie out and make the person own it.

I am an independent voter and always have been. I wanted radical change and was looking at Ron Paul as the most honest we have to work with. The parties are so divided and I think Obama has tried but what would a Ron Paul look like, so I looked. Then came Paul Ryan and I knew what my vote was going to be. Obama must win or we will see another depression, yes a depression if Romney is elected along with the money that all wants a return. It's already happening in student loans. Bundling, hedging and betting is going on as I type. We must Regulate...........

I believe Obama is not done yet and needs his chance to show what he has done already, that is work be it ever so slow and allow him to finish what he promised. We the people with a brain, see what the crazy Republican party has done to this country, shame on them and they will have to stand before their maker some day.

Obama needs the voters help this time with the local and State office elections. I plan to vote straight Demo to give Obama the room to finish the jobs act and I believe this Country will becoming a running strong economy again.

I am a small business owner and we are the job creators if you ask me. We have been hit pretty hard and the jobs act will help us. I read the heal care act wanting to know my responsibility once the Supreme Court ruled. I Liked what I read. I will be getting a 50% credit in 2014 and get to offer my employees as well as myself health care. I invite other small business owners to read for themselves and see how this heath care plan will apply to them.

Please CNN you can be the leader for making the difference and turn the lies back on the liar. Think just how that might clean up our politics and change the divided Country. What did your mother tell you about lying? If you are viewed as a liar who will believe you; and who want to vote for you. It's a standard, a bar to set for character of who we want our children to see as our leaders.

We have fallen so far, but some of us still remember the reporters from Watergate. Don't think they were not afraid to report the truth. It could have been their lives. Remember Nixon, I do as a young girl, but I remember it was the journalist who changed the world and set us free from Nixon.

Be the solution, demand the truth from our leaders.

Romney's comment on no one asking for his birth certificate was blatently racial and uncalled for. The GOP has been laughing about it for over a week. I totally support Chis Matthews for going after Reince Priebus. Mr. Priebus was smirk and thought no one would have the guts to confront the GOP. Chris Matthews was hero material in my eyes for doing what no one had the guts to do. Scott, go back to your Fox News, the worst news organization in America.....it is where you belong.
