Media Monitor (Oct. 14)

The AP's  funny, but unfair photo of Mitt Romney,  Ann Romney's fluffy appearance as co-host on Good Morning America and a QVC host doesn't let his co-host's fainting spell get in the way of pushing product.

A section of the media, like CNN and FOX, has given Romney a pass on the glaring inconsistencies in his stated policies. If the President contradicted himself as Romney has during the course of this campaign, he would have been regularly called out on it, and people rightly would be asking themselves if he could be trusted when he cannot be pinned down on any one position. I find it incredible that the media has not been questioning why Romney has changed his positions so often and instead uses the more polite euphemism that he is “moving to the center.” In the real world, when someone easily and frequently morphs his positions and views he would be called an opportunist.
