Why does the media and everyone "in it" have to flip out over one comment from a sports anchor or otherwise....our entire society is so polarized BY THE MEDIA that no one can make ANY statement without backlash. All this in an effort to do what the (Big Business) media does so well....talk about nothing of value and sell commercials to blind sheep.

Sports is not a microcosm of society. Young millionaires are not a microcosm of society. Sports, while generating gazillions of dollars, including the money spent on this panel, could be gone tomorrow and society would be better off. It's a game, played by millionaires that has no direct relationship to life.
