    Who the heck is Joe Concha? I don't agree with the politics of Ponnuru, but at least he's clearly a smart guy who brings something to the table to make you think. Concha sounds like some blogger from the Bleacher Report.

    I had just checked back in to this site for this show, as I generally had liked it, but these segments this week were not good.

    I was really surprised at Joe's opinion that there really hasn't been much of a negative effect from the government closures. He lives in a very different world from the masses. This is comparable to the engineers who find the small leaks in the levees during high water extremes and know that if something isn't done immediately there will be disastrous consequences, and that's why it is newsworthy. Thousands of people are feeling the effects now, from "furloughed" workers to all people served by those workers.
    Joe should do some serious research and learn about the reality outside of his small world.
