Never dreamed I'd ever type this, but he's right! Except when he blames the 'left' equally. The dialogue became insane when we elected (gasp) a Black president. Hannity, Levin, O'Reilly, and yes, Beck, 'preached' hate, just like Father Coughlin in the 1930s who was listened to by all the Irish and were motivated to create our own little Kristallnacht in Brooklyn.
Problem is that the US was founded by aristocratic men who were followers of the Enlightenment.
Then we had waves of immigrants from countries where the Enlightenment had very little if any impact (like Ireland).
As these groups achieve what they believe is the American Dream (money, not freedom to say and listen to other ideas) they have been undoing the most basic of Enlightened ideas (NSA for example). So that's our Civil war today, the blowback of having a Black family in the White House (gasp) together with feudalism where the elite control the masses in thought and deed.

I sincerely hope there is never a 2nd American Civil War. However, if the politicians in Washington continue to provoke the American People by assaulting the Bill of Rights/Constitution, couple that with millions and millions of unemployed and underemployed Americans, plus approximately 20% of Americans living in Poverty, 8% of America in Prison and you have a recipe for Civil unrest and War.

Works programs don't work. A thriving a economy creates jobs. Barry does not want a thriving economy. Did you do any research on your facts? Poverty in America is high at 15.1%, but not the 20% you claim. The poverty rate has not been that high since the late 1950's, when it hit 22.4%. No revolution then. It dropeed after that but began rising in 1980, again dopping between 1993 AND 2000. It started rising again in 2000. So it fluctuates.
As far as your claim about the "majority" of people in jail are there for pot crimes, about 12.7% of people inprison are there for those type of crimes, hardly the "majority".I hardly see a civil war i any of this.
