Associated Press reporter Brett Zongker tells Brian Stelter about the moment Bill Cosby asked him to "scuttle" a videotaped question about the rape allegations Cosby is facing.
The A.P. published the video of the November 6 interview on November 19.
"He said that if I was a serious journalist, we wouldn't use any of this footage," Zongker said.
"That was my favorite part, and by favorite, I mean most horrifying," Stelter replied. "That's the opposite of a serious journalist!"
"It surprised me quite a bit that he questioned my integrity for even asking the question," Zongker said.
"I have been an admirer of Bill Cosby growing up, watching him on television," he added. "I didn't want to ask these questions, but I had to ask these questions because I'm a journalist and I was doing my job."
